José Luis Dávila González has worked with Valmet, a worldwide paper machine manufacturer, since 2004. He is the managing director of Valmet in Spain.

Prior to joining Valmet, Jose worked for paper machine manufacturer Voith as a sales manager for paper maintenance services in the Spanish market, for Estampaciones Modernas, a component manufacturer for electric motors; and international consulting firm Accenture, working with Spanish and South American companies.

He has a degree in industrial engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior of Zaragoza in Spain. Jose’s professional training also includes courses on production management at APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society; project development and management courses through CAPS; and Valmet Paper School, which had courses on paper industry concepts and machinery throughout Europe.

He is married with three children.
